What is 5-Ply technology? 

Argent 5CX Stainless Steel Cookware is constructed using 5 layers, which is classified as:

  • Inner body 18/10 stainless steel – This is safe for cooking as there are no chemicals that can migrate into your food
  • Second layer is an aluminum sheet. Aluminium, being an excellent heat conductor, enhances even heat distribution
  • The middle layer is a copper sheet. Copper in the core transfers heat and spreads it quickly, evenly and precisely throughout the cookware preventing any hot spots.
  • The fourth layer is again an aluminum sheet. Aluminium, being an excellent heat conductor, enhances even heat distribution
  • The outer layer is an 18/0 magnetic stainless steel layer. It makes cookware durable and suitable for all hobs including induction cooktops
